THE GOOD
With the Pisces Moon, the queen of heaven enters into a chapel, or a zendo, or some similar kind of contemplative, quiet atmosphere. Here the Moon is hosted by Jupiter, Lord of Priests and Pontiffs, in his yin, feminine manifestation as opposed to his more masculine manifestation in Sagittarius. Intuition, dreamtime, psychic awareness, and the profoundly felt sense that we are all connected deep down - these are the things that the Moon emphasizes here. This is not the time to push your will onto the world. This is a time to cease from doing and remember the truths of life that really matter. Take this as a time to reconnect to the profundity of life that put you on a spiritual path in the first place. Return to the beginner’s mind.
All in all, this is a very quiet period, with only one aspect from a malefic. I would not expect much intensity or too many busy events to occur for you during this period, unless you are entering into a major time lord period, or have a lot of planets in Pisces natally. Take this as an opportunity to reflect and go inward. The energy of Pisces already supports this kind of behavior.
One thing I will add is that, even though the Moon is not forming an aspect to Mercury, Mercury himself is doing much better for himself currently, now with a mutual reception to Mars in Gemini. It will be easier to communicate the depths of what you are feeling in a clearer, more precise way. Perhaps everything has felt too complex and deep to express in simple terms. Now is a good time to try.
THE BAD
The Moon forms a square to Mars. Tension, agitation, and frustration with yourself and others abound. Anger and disagreement will be prevalent, and your temper will be shorter than usual. Sometimes the positive aspects to Mars - the trine and sextile - can produce a more useful silver lining where you can use the martial fire as a kind of fuel to get things done. This is more difficult with the Mars square - I would just ride this one out.
Unfortunately, this is the only aspect that is being formed. Nothing will completely resolve itself during this period. The aversion to the Moon’s ruler Jupiter makes it harder to find conclusions or completion to any work that you undertake. This lack of an aspect also serves to strengthen the difficulties that come through the square from Mars.
THE WYRD
According to the PGM (Greek Magical Papyri), this an excellent time for prediction and fortune-telling. This is a great period to have an astrology, tarot, I Ching, or any other kind of intuitive reading. It’s also a great time to give that kind of reading, as you will be more connected to the divine. This makes sense - the internal, more ecstatic, yin sign of the God of Priests (Jupiter) would naturally lend itself to sudden clarity and foreknowledge.
With the Moon occupying a sign ruled by Jupiter on his day (Thursday) I would recommend doing some Jupiter magic during this time, on Thursday April 8th. However, because of the lack of aspect from Jupiter to the Moon, and the lack of aspects in general to other planets, I wouldn’t expect any materially, outcome-driven workings to be very successful. The planets are, however, just as good at helping you excavate the internal mechanisms and patterns that hold you back in life and keep you from what you want. Focus on that instead.
I am currently taking on new clients for readings, and I would be very happy to walk you through your own chart and astrological weather - book a session with me here!
Astrological Signatures

Departure: Saturday, April 10th at 2:11am EDT / 6:11am UTC.
Moon in Pisces: Peregrine. Without any essential dignity, though not in her detriment or fall. The Moon continues to be somewhat unsteady, but this is an excellent period for emotional exploration and self-care. Free-form journaling, walks that have no specific destination in mind, and other practices or rituals that help you to get in touch with your own emotional center will be greatly supported here. Visions may also come to you, as Pisces is, by far, the zoidion which is most overtly connected to the other side.
Triplicity and Quadruplicity: Bicorporeal Water. Bicorporeality indicates activities and moods which are a mean between the extremes of tropicality (cardinality) and fixedness, not as erratic and changing as the former, but not as solid and steady as the latter. The water element emphasizes the emotional and inner life, and people tend to prioritize their own inner states and unconsciousness patterns. The atmosphere takes a very reflective tone.
Moon’s ruler: Aversion to Jupiter in Aquarius. There is no help in grounding her significations, or changing and making anything long lasting arise. There is also less protection from the Mars square (see below).
Relationship to the Sun: Aversion to the Sun in Aries. This is a neutral placement. Outer events and circumstances will not noticeably support you and create feelings of flow, but they won’t necessarily go out of their way to hinder you either.
Aspects
Superior Mutable Square to Mars in Gemini. The trine has tensed into a square. This is a difficult aspect - tension could arise between you and your surroundings. You may feel more frustrated and upset with yourself and your own behavior.
