In this video I want to address a common question I get about astrological magic and ritual magic in general:
How do we know that the spirits we’re calling are good?
For ritual magicians of any tradition, it's a natural time to wonder about the moral fiber of the spirits that we're contacting: are they good? Are they wholesome? Are they well?
Any practitioner of ritual magic should be able to answer these questions confidently. They should know for sure what quality of beings they are in touch with.
I can’t vouch for the spirits of every magical lineage, sect, tradition out there. Honestly, many of the spirits that people contact in a lot of magical traditions aren't super wholesome. Especially traditions and sects centered around vampirism and black magic.
But I can vouch for the moral integrity and ethical soundness of the spirits within the astrological tradition, namely, the planets and stars.
Basically, there are four ways that we can know for sure that the spirits we contact in astrological magic are good:
The technology of astrological magic
How you feel during and after working with planetary spirits
The historical precedent around these spirits.
The results these spirits give you in your life.It’s an understandable question. For beginners to astrological magic, fear can be involved around the summoning spirits. There’s also a lot of historical stigma that keeps people fearful.
