We’ll be going through a Jupiter spell for manifesting wealth and prosperity.
This spell is based on teachings and practices used by ancient astrologers and mages from thousands of years ago. I didn’t make it up, and I’ve used it myself to get where I am today – running a 6 figure business as an astrologer and magician (in today’s economy, no less!)
This spell connects you with the power of the planet Jupiter – a powerful celestial force and one of the most benefic, compassionate planets in astrology.
Jupiter is a very benevolent, magnanimous force in traditional astrology and western esotericism, classically associated with expansion, growth, wisdom, and prosperity. In India, he is known as “guru;” In Kabbalah and Catholicism he is associated with the Archangel Zadkiel.
When you open the portal to connect with this powerful astral force, the energy of abundance and prosperity flows into your being and saturates your entire life.
You become filled with insight and inspiration about what you want to accomplish in life. Your work and career pivot and shift to align with your innate gifts and talents. You performance and focus shoot through the roof because you’re operating in alignment with your spirit.
As a result, clients bang down the door. Your boss notices your skills and merits more. Email lists suddenly start growing after long periods of stagnation. You get your foot in the door with the right people who can help you take your financial life to the next level.
Like anything good in life, it takes work. There is work involved in preparation for the spell, and additional steps that I will layer on as the week goes by to make the spell more potent.
But this is a fun kind of work. It won’t involve much staring at your computer screen or writing copy or hopping on sales calls or anything like that. It will be a fun break from your usual routine.
In order to complete this spell properly, you’re going to need to acquire specific ingredients in order to create an altar.
Think of the altar as a landing pad for the power of the planet. It is the base through which you open the portal to the realm of Jupiter and begin to bring his energy into your life so he can offer you his blessings.
Here are the essentials that your altar will require:
A flat surface where you can place your altar objects.
A candle (preferably blue)
A bowl of water
an incense associated with Jupiter – fancier scents include copal, balsam, juniper, and cedar, but certain easily accessible kitchen herbs like bay leaves, Ceylon cinnamon, and nutmeg are also Jupiterian.
If you want to make the portal even more potent, then you can gather other natural materials associated with Jupiter and place them on the altar as well.
Every crystal, tree, plant, etc. resonates with the power of one of the planets above. When you gather a lot of materials associated with one planet together on an altar, then your altar space naturally starts to hum and vibrate with that planets’ power – the portal begins to form before you even begin the spell.
Materials associated with Jupiter include clear quartz, lapis lazuli, blue topaz, holy basil, oak leaves and acorns, high john the conqueror, or any of the other plants listed above as incenses.
You can always go into the landscape and find materials that resonate with you for this ritual. I always tell my students that the ancients didn’t have etsy. You’re not required to scour the internet trying to find the perfect materials, or break the banking stocking up on crystals. You can always just work with what you have nearby.
Think of this as an epic quest - an adventure you are tasked with in order to truly summon a veritable god from the heavens above. Make it fun.
If you take the time to gather these materials and place them all together in one space, you already have more energy built up than you could create just by repeating affirmations, visualizing, tapping, or other common tools for “manifestation” in the pop spirituality scene. Those things have their place, but we’re moving past that in favor of authentic ancient ritual technology.
Alright my friend, you have your assignment! Go forth and collect the materials you need. You will receive the instructions for the actual spell tomorrow, but the spell really begins once you set your intention to do the ritual and start gathering your materials. Bear that in mind as you go on your quest.
